• "Do you live on a barge?" [Asked of me and my girlfriend together, though to be fair we were in a pub that's right next to a canal]

The Fall - one might say the opposite pole of the guitar world to the Cardiacs/Zappa axis [Right, we've got a pole opposite an axis here, haven't we. Metaphor editor to my office at once] but just as uncompromising etc. This used to be the official site until about May 2006, now it's the unofficial site.

The Hawkinsian Institute - the home of Ian Hawkins, bassist from the band I played drums in ... the mighty Elephant Glue! Including more downloadable tunes and Glue Boys photos! Now includes a page about Ian's latest project (or it was the latest one at the time) - a film based on yours truly, no less. Find out exactly how much uglier I really am than on the above photo, which was taken in 1996 for Christ's sake. (I've still got those Lennons though, as of ten years later.)

Marie's World of Stuff - after the somewhat austere conditions you've been subjecting your eyes to here at FML, why not visit this warm and welcoming website belonging to my now ex-girlfriend, but as of yet I don't feel inclined to remove this link - life's too short to be spiteful, except to that very small number of individuals who deserve it, of whom Marie isn't one). She also took the photo above by the way. The pose was entirely my idea though, I can't let her take the blame!
